THE WOMAN BEHIND THE MASK The Mask

I have been wearing a mask constantly the last six years due to allergic rhinitis and chronic sinusitis. There was a time when I couldn’t leave my home due to the severity of the allergies. When I had to leave my home for any reason, I had to wear the mask as a part of my attire. Imagine the looks I got! The mask helped shield some of the things I was having an allergic response to but sometimes I would still have a reaction. The mask is made up of woven honeycomb cloth with one charcoal filter. I had to use three filters! Now I wear the mask when needed which has two filters. I also wear an air purifier that cleans the air three feet around me. The mask is a help but not totally my covering. The blood of Jesus is my covering! Because of the blood of Jesus, His healing power, my doctors and treatments that I have come this far. Being exposed to mold, asbestos, lead, and a chemical compromised my immune system so that I have to readjust my life. One day the mask will be no more! The manifestation of my total healing will come forth! Until then I can’t, we can’t stop living because of a distraction or disability. God has called us to do something in this life. He has empowered us to move forward regardless of our circumstances. I saw something on Pinterest that I posted on Facebook, “fear has two meanings forget everything and run or face everything and rise. The choice is yours.” I chose today December 31, 2018, to face everything and rise! I realize, not only have I been wearing a physical mask but also a spiritual mask. God is calling me to do so much in the earth but I keep making excuses. Excuses that I have allergies, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, sinusitis, I don’t have a seminary degree, no doors are opening, etc etc. We serve a God who is a healer and provider. Our words have power. No matter what the doctors diagnosed me with, God is the doctor who made the doctor. He is MY healer. I stand boldly and declare my body is healed!!! Now is the time to go forth to do the things He has called me to do. It’s time in 2019 to pull off the spiritual mask and let God show the world who I am!!! It’s time for sickness to leave my body. It’s time for the mask to stop hiding the woman God created you and me to be. Things may come to try to hinder us but God is able. He will not allow anything to come into our life that He didn’t approve. Remember Job? God gave satan permission to attack Job’s home, land, family, and his body! Job remained faithful to his faith. God blessed him double in the end!!!!! Even if I have to speak, teach, pray or preach with the physical mask on, I have to move forward! So do you! Whatever your mask is be it physical or spiritual it’s time to obey God! Pray out fear, walk in faith, shake off the dust, keep your eyes on Christ, and decide to face everything and rise!!!!!!

About This Blog

You might think it’s strange or weird to see a person walking around with a mask on.  In my blog I will explain why this mask is necessary for survival.  I spent years wondering why smells would literally stop me from breathing.  I had no idea what had taken over my body like in a episode of twilight zone.
